Dancehall star Valiant continues to prove that he has transcended being a ‘summer sensation’ to a bonafide hitmaker after landing yet another number-one trending song on YouTube.

His latest effort ‘Glock 40’ has officially become the most-viewed song in Jamaica shortly after its premiere.

It took just two or two days for the track to be added to his catalog of most streamed music act on the platform.

The song and its accompanying video which was released on Thursday, has racked up more than 590,000 streams in its first 48 hours to immediately be catapulted as the number one most trending song from the island.

This feat marks Valiant’s first top-trending track for 2023, which follows a slew of number 1 on-demand songs in what was an unprecedented period of dominance in the final quarter of 2022.

Valiant who got his break in September of that year yielded as much seven number-one most trending songs on the platform alone in a three-month period including an unprecedented monopoly of the top five spots on the streaming site.

The most recent of which came in December by way of his Stalk Ashley collaboration on Narcissistic which controlled the top spot going into the new year before eventually relinquishing the summit to his own track.
