Dancehall’s top striker Masicka and British ‘rap don’ Stefflon Don are creating trending moments with the premier of the video for their hit single ‘Moments’ on Tuesday.
The track which was part of Masicka’s debut project ‘438’ has been a fan favorite since its release and was among several trending songs from the project last year.
The RD studios directed video, captures the steamy story between the two in a sensual yet playful style that stays true enough to the lyrics while maintaining and aspect of mystery which boosts the entertaining value of visuals.
The video’s release comes two weeks following the British- Jamaican rapper’s visit to the island, which also gives a strong hint as to the reason for her stop over.
Fans who were already excited about the collab, have also given the thumbs up to the visuals.
The video has already racked up over 260,000 views in just 15 hours of its premier, catapulting it to the 11th most streamed musical content on YouTube.
Based on the track’s current pace, its expected to break into the top five in a few days. This effort follows up Masicka’s ‘Tom Brady freestyle’ which currently the second most streamed song on the island with 589,000 views after four days.
