Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, and soon-to-be ex-wife Kim Kardashian have become embroiled in a social media tennis game, with both going back and forth online over differing views on their daughter North West being on TikTok.
The spat became official when the Keeping Up With the Kardashian star responded to Ye’s post about her going behind his back and allowing North to post videos online.
“Kanye’s constant attack on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create,’ she stated on her IG story. “As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision – because it brings her happiness,” she continued.
This was in direct response to Ye expressing his disappointment in North’s videos being posted on the popular social media platform despite his alleged disapproval.
“SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL?” Ye posted on his Instagram on Friday morning.
Kardashian also vented in her post that the ‘Gold Digger’ singer has used their divorce to manipulate the situation.
“Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all” she added.
Yeezy almost immediately reacted to Kim’s post, countering her claims in a subsequent Instagram post of her original statement.
“What do you mean by main provider? America saw you try to kidnap my daughter on her birthday by not providing the address You put security on me inside of the house to play with my son then accused me of stealing I had to take a drug test after Chicago’s party cause you accused me of being on drugs Tracy Romulus stop manipulating Kim to be this way…” he said.
Both have been the subject of a now tumultuous fracas since January when Kim alleged romance with new beau comedian Pete Davidson became public, while Ye has been on several very public excursions with new flame actress Julia Fox.
