Megan Thee Stallion, whose birth name is Megan Pete, will be one of 843 students to graduate from Texas Southern University on Saturday, December 11.
The “Hot Girl Summer” hit singer will be receiving her bachelor’s degree in health administration. It has been no secret that Meg has been eager to complete her college degree while still focusing on her music career. After announcing the achievement via a social media post last month, she insisted that her college experience has been a wild ride.
“My college experience has been a roller coaster! I started at PV went to some community colleges in between and I’m ending at TSU. Don’t get discouraged! You can chase your dreams and your education at the same time,” she wrote on Twitter.
It is a remarkable achievement for the 26-year-old, who has had an up and down 2021, mostly centered around the continued legal deliberations stemming from the August 2020 incident involving her and Tory Lanez. She has also been publicly enjoying her relatively new relationship with artist Pardi Fontaine.
