Reggae sensation YG Marley is maintaining his status as a top-tier performer after he thrilled a packed crowd at Madison Square Gardens (MSG) as a special guest during rapper “A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s” and Friends concert on Tuesday.

Marley, who was among several high-profile guest performers on the night, including R&B icon Mary J Blige and rapper 50 Cent, delivered arguably the best sets on the evening with the venue filled to capacity.

The reception further solidified the magnitude of the single’s impact, which was recently certified gold in the US by the Recording Industry Association (RIAA)- for sales of 500,000 units.

It also reaffirmed the stage presence the reggae singer continues to command, adding to his Coachella debut in March, which remains among the more talked about sets this year, setting the tone for his Reggae Sumfest debut in Jamaica in July.
