Don’t ask Ye about ‘NFT’s’. Global rap star and fashion icon Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has made it implicitly clear that he isn’t interested in acquiring the virtual commodities or creating any virtual items for now.

Ye made the declaration in an Instagram post of a picture showing a note stating his disinterest.

“MY FOCUS IS ON BUILDING REAL PRODUCTS IN THE REAL WORLD, REAL FOOD, REAL CLOTHES, REAL SHELTER,” the note read.

The rapper doubled down on his stance with the caption, “STOP ASKING ME TO DO NFT’s I’M NOT FINNA CO-SIGN … FOR NOW I’M NOT ON THAT WAVE I MAKE MUSIC AND PRODUCTS IN THE REAL WORLD”.

The Jesus Walks singer said his main priority is the completion of his Donda 2 project set to drop later this month, he hasn’t written off the idea completely as a future venture.

“ASK ME LATER” is how he closed the note which is suggestive of possible Yeezy NFTs to come.
