The West Indies Men’s Cricket team is now the third-best nation in T20 cricket, following the latest team rankings by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

The rankings, which were updated recently, saw the two-time World Champions move up a spot to overtake England for the number three spot in the world rankings.

The update sees the Windies rewarded for their recent performances in an impressive streak of victories, including their unbeaten run in the current World Cup to advance to secure passage in the Super 8 stage.

The team also shared the news via their social media on Saturday morning.

The tournament co-hosts, who are unbeaten in their last seven games, will be keen on extending that record when they conclude their Group C fixtures against Afghanistan on Monday.
