The West Indies will be hunting for their third straight win at the 2024 ICC T20 Cricket World Cup when they face New Zealand in Group C action at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Trinidad and Tobago, on Wednesday.

The Windies, who are second in their group with four points from their opening two wins against Papua New Guinea and Uganda, will again start as favourites to snatch all the points against the “Kiwis,” who are at the foot of the standing with zero points.

A second loss for the visitors, who were shocked by Afghanistan in their opening fixture, would essentially end their chances of advancing, while another West Indies victory would see them secure a spot in the Super Eight as the top two finishers in the group with a game remaining.

The match is set to bowl off at 7: 30 pm.
