Fast food chain Wendy’s and Paramount are reportedly joining forces to bring the iconic Krabby Patty burger from Nickelodeon’s “SpongeBob SquarePants” to life.
According to reports, the iconic cartoon meal is set to roll out in October as part of the 25th Anniversary celebration of the popular cartoon.
While neither company has officially confirmed the collaboration, a picture of what appeared to be an internal memo about the promotion dated August 16, has surfaced online, seemingly affirming reports of the limited-time offer.
The memos, supposedly from Wendy’s describe the collaboration as an “exclusive Krabby Patty Kollab.”
The meal will feature a Wendy’s cheeseburger topped with fresh produce and a “secret Krabby Patty sauce,” to keep Plankton guessing about the secret formula.
The meal is also set to include fries and a new Frosty flavour, the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty, which is comprised of a Vanilla frosty blended with pineapple mango puree in tribute to SpongeBob’s pineapple home.
