The Jordan Poole saga at the Golden State Warriors seems to have concluded following reports of him being transferred to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for Chris Paul on Thursday.

According to NBA insider Shams Charania, the trade sees the Warriors give up a protected first-round pick and a second-rounder to the Washington Wizards for Paul.

The reported trade would not be a shock to many following the turbulent season by the team mainly with the physical altercation between Poole and teammate Draymond Greene in pre-season.

The relationship between them has been under severe scrutiny following the leaked video of Green pushing Poole during a disagreement in training.

With the incident coming in the midst of new contract negotiations with the Warriors it was feared that Poole would have opted for a trade in free agency.

He however agreed to stay with the champions. It’s believed that the two are working to mend fences.

However, the tension between the two has been evident throughout the season.

Neither party has commented on the reports however Warrior’s handle is noticeably missing from Poole’s Instagram bio.
