After a break-out year in 2022, Dancehall sensation Valiant is making it clear he is no longer associated with ‘Bruk Days’ in his newest single of the same name.
Bruk Days, which was released on Sunday night, is the deejay’s second official release of 2023 and already seems to be on course to follow suit to his previous release – ‘Glock 40’ which currently holds the top spot as the most trending song on YouTube.
Bruk Days has already racked up over 135,000 streams in 17 hours, propelling the song among the 15 most streamed tracks currently, building on the momentum of pulling 69,000 in the first four hours.

The single itself which is a jab at haters and critics trying to pull him down serves as a notice that such efforts are now vain as he has already moved beyond any influence which would present itself as a barrier to his success.
The ‘St Mary’ hitmaker, who undoubtedly had the most dominant presence in the local music space for the past five months, was recently touted by the internationally renowned publication-British Vogue magazine as being among the musicians to take over 2023.
Based on his output already, that prediction seems to be holding ‘true-to-form’ as he maintains his momentum of highly receptive songs and a growing fanbase among the Reggae/ Dancehall following.
In observation of the deejay’s rapid rise in notoriety, it’s fair to say that his talent has exceeded a Valiant effort to an increasingly commanding status as a top act amongst his peers.
