Update: Squash arrested in Florida for overstaying

Monday night, it was reported that dancehall artiste Andrae Maurice who goes by the stage name Squash has been detained by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Florida, U.S. New information reportedly says this was because he over stayed.

The reports notes that the Montego Bay artiste was taken into custody for overstaying on his work visa.

The news come as Florida’s Governor, Ron DeSantis recently signed a Senate bill to clamp down on illegal immigration.

Reportedly, Squash was being held at the Krome North Service Processing Center, an ICE detention facility in Miami.
