X (formerly known as Twitter) boasts that it has “1 million+ open jobs” available through its recently launched Jobs listing feature as it revs up competition against popular professional networking platforms such as Glassdoor and LinkedIn.

The micro-blogging platform confirmed the openings on the app via a tweet on its profile on Wednesday.

The update comes seven months following the announced launch of the tool last August, which has been in beta testing for the better part of 2023.

During its rollout, the hiring feature was announced as a tool for verified organisations, with the service attracting a $1000 monthly fee.

The feature is among the raft of new additions to attract revenue to the beleaguered social media platform as it moves one step closer to Musk’s announced vision to make it the “everything app”.
