The two-year reigning Miss World celebrated her birthday yesterday, February 1st.

The St Thomas native has been working with charities can be seen in her work with charities and carrying out her duties associated with the Miss World Corporation.

In 2019 after winning, she recorded a cover of the late Whitney Houston’s song I Have Nothing at the acclaimed UK Studio- Abbey Road Studios. Where it was made clear that all proceeds of the recording would go to the Beauty with a Purpose Charities, under The Miss World Corporation.

The 69th Champion made her first big international visit to South Africa to visit Nelson Mandela’s eldest Grandson to celebrate his mother’s birthday in January of 2020.

The world tour of pre-Miss World’s was not the truth for Toni, because of the effects of the pandemic but she did begin 2020 in true fashion with this visit, where she donated 1300 shoes to local schools under the Beauty with a Purpose charity.

She, however, was able to visit South Africa to celebrate the Legacy of the Late Madeba – Nelson Madela. She is seen pictured with true joy to be able to share in the heritage of the South African Civil Rights leader.

Most recently Toni-Ann has shown the world her versatility with her podcast on YouTube which aired during the pandemic eight months ago- “Dear World”. She uses this platform to speak on her roots, heritage and journey.

Toni-Ann singh has truly been busy even with the COVID-19 covering our globe.
