Actor Lew Palter, who was popular for the role he played in “Titanic,” as a business magnate Isidor Straus, has died.

According to news reports overseas, his daughter, Catherine, told reporters – Palter passed away in May after a battle with lung cancer.

No reason was given for the delayed announcement of his death.

He died at the age of 94.
