Actress and media persona Tia Mowry and husband Cory Hardrict are heading for divorce after 14 years of marriage.

The sisters-sister star shared the decision of their split via her Instagram page on Tuesday in a very frank post with fans.

The post which was a black and white picture of the couple was captioned with a somber yet reflective announcement

“I have always been honest with my fans, and today is no different. I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways ” the caption started.

“These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness. We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children ” she continued

“I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives ” the very upfront post concluded.

The post was immediately flooded with messages of shared sadness and support.

Twin sister Tamera Mowry shared a simple: ❤️❤️❤️❤️ love you!.” She no doubt would have been made aware of the diminishing marital status between her sibling and husband before public announcement.

Fellow actress Taraji P Henson was also another a lister celebrities to send early message of public support commenting “Sending all of the love and support your way. God bless your family❤️❤️❤️”

The two shared two children together; Cairo Tiahana Hardrict and Cree Hardrict.
