Fast-rising dancehall artiste Tactikal has championed his way into the rotation of notable radio broadcasters and has now become a regular voice on prime radio frequencies locally and internationally.

His latest single Winner is leading his New Year campaign as he sets himself up as an artiste to watch in 2021.

Tactikal, given name Ossan McKenzie, has seemingly found favour with youth popular radio, where his songs are aired daily.

Songs like Black Card, Lock Di Globe, Lifestyle and now Winner have all maintained a noticeable presence in the rotation among a competitive dancehall space.

Tactikal told SLEEK, 

“Is a joy because not too long ago we hardly had ONE song playing now di ting dem in rotation. We glad for the love at home and abroad… we a do real music and dem a respond positively to them. Big up all DJs weh a play Tactikal a dem a di agents of mi music.”

Tactikal is also getting rotation in the US on Mega JAMZ with Waggy T and over in Canada on their biggest urban music station, G98FM.

MC Bundi and others at G98FM have been keeping Tactikal in rotation over a year now for the single “Lifestyle” for Buff Baff Records. 

Fans are also sharing videos of his music being played on Caribbean radio, enjoying fair rotation in territories like Barbados, Trinidad, Guyana and over in St Vincent and Grenadines via Boom SVG 106.9FM

Over in the United Kingdom, Flames FM Radio is blazing Tactikal’s Winner, mainly through DJ Genesis.
