Dancehall star Squash continues his resurgence as a bonafide hitmaker after returning atop YouTube trending with his recent release “Shubout.”

The track, hovering around the top ten trending music drops since its premiere last week, officially claimed the number-one spot, racking up more than 544,000 streams in five days.

“Shubout‘s” popularity is also felt across platforms with the song being the third most-listened-to track in Jamaica on Apple Music.

The feat is “Sqaush’s” second number-one release this year following the success of his viral hit “Big Breeze,” which in addition to previously topping YouTube, remains the top streaming song on Apple Music in Jamaica.

The success means the “6ix boss” now has two of the three most streamed songs on the island on the platform.
