2026 is already yielding success for Dancehall giants Spice, Sean Paul and Shaggy as their 2021 smash “Go Down Deh” was officially certified silver for registering the sales equivalent of 200,000 units in the UK.
The track, an instant radio smash following its release, was among the first set of singles and albums to earn verified certification in the new year in the territory.

The update adds to the list of plaque successes for the single, which has already gone platinum in Canada, further underlining the certified hit status and global appeal of the track.

“Go Down Deh ” has remained a staple across several global charts and international playlists across various genres. Most recently returning to the top of Apple iTunes Reggae Charts in the final quarter of 2025, it now remains inside the top three as at the time of reporting.
The music video for the collab also remains a dominant feature on the platform, where it currently reigns as the number one purchased content in Reggae.

The certification comes less than a month after officially hitting 500 million total global streams, reaffirming its sustained growth as an international classic.
The accolade was one of two certifications in the UK for Sean this year already, with the “Dutty Rock” top man also bagging a platinum credit for his mega hit “Like Glue”.
