International Dancehall sensation Skillibeng continues to reaffirm his top tier status in the genre after dropping a surprise project on Wednesday night titled; “I’ll Never Die’.
The five-track EP, which premiered on his YouTube channel has gained favorable responses thus far with some fans already claiming their favorite tracks.
The records which were released almost simultaneously racked up on average upwards of 30,000 streams under 20 hours with ‘Special’ breaking the top 20 most trending songs on the platform in Jamaica.
The tracks include -Money, Déjà vu, More Fire, Special, and D@#k S*%cked.
The release is perhaps seen as some content to hold over his fans while he continues his World tour.
Skilli, whose tour had a small two-week break in the Caribbean leg, following its October 1 continuation, will resume his gigs on Saturday, October 15 in St. Lucia.
With his tour getting back into full swing in October, the new releases will only serve to build additional hype ahead of his appearances.
The “Eastsyde” boss, has been a hot topic all year following the release of his international hit “Whap Whap” which has been remixed by and cosigned by some of hip hop’s current top names.
Including Dj Khaled who recruited the “Crocodile teeth” hitmaker among a throng of A-list special guest features on his ‘God Did’ album.
He has also done recent collaborations with fellow international dancehall act Shenseea on her track- Rain, in addition to his co-feature with rap sensation Ice Spice on B love’s-One time.
The New York drill record is currently closing on one million streams on his channel alone.
