Jamaican/American Hollywood icon Sheryl Lee Ralph has expanded her CV after receiving an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters, honoris causa award from Drexel University.

In an emotional post on her social media, Ralph shared the news with fans, noting the occasion as a ‘full circle moment’ of sorts, with her son who witnessed her being honoured years after celebrating his graduation from the institution.

Film and entertainment personalities were among dozens of people who sent congratulatory messages to The Emmy Award-winning actress, who was also among the commencement speakers at the University during the recently concluded ceremony.
