Women’s 200m World Champion Shericka Jackson got off to a winning start in her first 200m of the season following her victory at the Marrakesh Diamond League in Morocco on Sunday.
Jackson, the second-fastest woman in history in the event (21.41s), cruised across the line in a time of 22.82 seconds to secure a comfortable win over the nearest competitor, Ivory Coast’s Maboundou Koné (22.96) in second and Helene Parisot of France, who logged a PB 23.02 for third.
