Two-time women’s 200m World Champion Shericka Jackson has played down the likelihood of a world record run from her in the event at the Olympics in Paris.

Jackson, the second fastest woman ever shared a candid response, while fielding questions about her fitness heading into the track events.

Concerns over Jackson’s health were elevated following the shocking news of her withdrawal from the 100m, in which she would be a medal favourite on Wednesday.

Despite dismissing a record attempt over the half-lap, the double nation sprint champion was however relaxed about her form in taking the event in Paris.
