Famed dancehall producer Linval ‘Shab Don’ Thompson Jr has reportedly been taken into custody by Joint Anti-Gang Task Force(JATAF) in connection with last month’s triple murder in Rose Heights, St James on Friday evening.

According to report The Jamaica Constabulary Force(JCF) says Thompson was arrested today by its members as part of a targeted operation in the St. Catherine South division following investigations into multiple connected incidents.

It’s further reported that Thompson who said to have been named a person of interest regarding the killings, is expected to questioned in the coming days in the presence of his attorney.

Given that he was taken into custody on Friday no courts will be available until Monday to listen submission of bail.

He’s is expected to be questioned in the coming days, the police said.

This new incident adds more drama to the legal of the embattled music Producer, who was recent cleared of firearm and ammunition charges in April.

 On May 25, 24-year-old Chamario ‘Chippy’, Chadwell Frazer 27 and Calvin, Toniann ‘Too Fly’ Reid, 26, were fatally shot dead at a birthday party on Marl Road in Rose Heights, St. James.
