Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, has seemingly clapped back at rapper Drake in response to rumours surrounding the rapper’s attempt to shade him on a highly controversial track on his recently released joint album with 21 Savage.
Ohanian, a tech mogul has joined a growing list of high-profile personalities to express their displeasure at the OVO boss’s punchlines reference about the respective individuals clearly has come across as offensive and distressful.
On Twitter, Alexis wrote, “The reason I stay winning is because I’m relentless about being the absolute best at whatever I do — including being the best groupie for my wife & daughter,” he wrote alongside a photo of him and their baby Olympia.
The line in question comes from his controversial release “Middle of the Ocean” where he labels Ohanian as a groupie:-
“Sidebar, Serena, your husband a groupie
He claim we don’t got a problem but
No, boo, it is like you comin’ for sushi.”
Drake of course had a fling with Williams between 2015 -2018 prior to her romance with the Reddit founder.
This is the latest high-profile address to the Toronto native’s ‘Her loss’ joint release Savage and comes just 24 hours following rapper Megan Thee Stallion’s sound off on Drake’s seeming reference to her being shot on his Circo Loco track
While directly addressing the 6 god, she had also taken to vent her frustration about rappers using her shooting for clout.
Embattled rapper and supposed ally Ye and NLF star Odel Beckham Jr also shared their disapproval of the release.
