The rum may have been the perfect ingredient to stir up a potential remix of Klassik Frescobar’s breakout smash “DANSA”, following the track’s resurgence among trending topics by online users following its reference during Thursday’s National Leadership between JLP leader and Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness and Opposition Leader-PNP’s Mark Golding.
Frescobar opened the floor to the potential collabs following the wave of online craze over the Soca Summer Smash, which resurged in prominence amid the national debate.

The track quickly became a punchy and social media punchline after PM Holness cheekily referenced the soca banger using a line about the alcoholic influence to jovially question Golding’s sobriety in making a point.
A reference which immediately involved social chatter, including multiple mentions and retweets to the artiste.
He later put it to the fans to name who they would want to do a remix of the song, which by itself, has been arguably one of the most playlisted soca drops in the world. Fans, of course, shared a range of candidates they think would be a solid combo.

The official audio for Dansa’s has racked up over 7.8 million streams on YouTube, with the visualizer also pulling upwards of 4.6 million views on his channel alone.
