Reggae crooner Romain Virgo is set to join the Queen of Reggae Marcia Griffiths as headliners of the Caribbean Food and Music Festival at the Apopka Amphitheater, Florida on Sunday.

The singers, who are billed as the main acts for the event will be joined by fellow singer Qupid as the Jamaican representatives on the show, which includes performers from Haiti, Dominican Republic as well as Cuba.

The event will be Virgo’s second performance in Florida in as many weeks following his appearance at the Art of Music Festival last Sunday (May 14) where he shared the stage with veterans Wayne Wonder and L.U.S.T among others.

Virgo’s fans will however get the opportunity to hear him perform his latest release featuring Jesse Royal titled ‘Hope’ live for the first time this weekend.

The collaboration was released via music subscription platforms on Thursday.

For Griffiths who has a massive fan base in the tri-state area, this weekend’s performance follows her recent stop in Jamaica for the Regina Belle in Concert earlier in May.

The ‘Electric Boogie’ hitmaker also celebrated being listed among Rolling Stones’ top 25 Reggae Covers of All-time for her cover of the Beatles’ -Don’t Let Me Down.
