In what could’ve easily be mistaken for a plot to a horror film, the man who was flung to his death from a roller coaster at Six Flags, reportedly survived cancer and a car fire weeks prior to the tragic incident.
According to reports, a woman identified as a family friend of the late Hassan Jihad Ibn Kariem, shared the shocking revelation of the harrowing near-death experience of the victim, while speaking on a local television station WSB-TV in Atlanta this week.
In her recollection, the victim’s daughter was also inside the vehicle when it caught a blaze just weeks before fatal coaster ride however, the specifics on cause was not disclosed, as per CBSAustin
It was also disclosed that Hassan had also overcame his battle with cancer twice and a serious bout with COVID-19 before his passing at the theme park.
Hassan tragically passed after falling from the “Goliath” roller coaster at Six Flags Goergia. Four others were also said to have sustained injuries during the incident.
It’s understood that the Park has since closed access to that specific ride across the states as investigations continue.
