The son of the late iconic Robbie Shakespeare (of Sly and Robbie), Shaun Shakespeare who goes by the stage name Buddah BabyWoo is SLEEK’s #RefreshingAct with his new song “Big Meech”.
Big Meech is a collaboration with Mike Smiff a prolific rapper whose early mixtapes led him inking a deal with Miami’s Slip-n-Slide label. The song hears Buddah BabyWoo fully hardcore and to stamp his place in the musical landscape.
Baring the image of his father and a deep passion for music in all genres; Buddah BabyWoo’s type of music is a fusion of Afrobeats, reggae, hip-hop, and rap.
He told SLEEK that his father has influenced his music tremendously.
His lyrics are seen as edgy and urban and Buddah BabyWoo told SLEEK about his musical sense of style.
In the meantime, Buddah BabyWoo also spoke of a few projects he is working for 2024 as well as other projects that he is now promoting.
