Jayson Scott, the son of New York rap star Remy Ma, has reportedly been charged with first-degree murder.

According to reports, Scott,23, along with co-accused 22-year-old Richard Swygert, were slapped with two counts of weapons possession and reckless endangerment in connection to the 2021 death of Darius Guillebeuax on Wednesday.

While a clear motive has yet to be established by authorities, Investigators are said to be exploring the possibility of the case being a “murder for hire,” Fox5 New York reports.

Remy Ma has yet to publicly react to the reports.
