Reggae Girlz striker Olufolasade “Sade” Adamolekun, scored two goals and registered an assist in a player-of-the-match performance in Hearts’ 5-0 victory over Spartans FC in the Scottish Women’s Premier League.
Adamolekun scored Hearts’ second and fifth goals in a show of dominance by the Championship contenders.
The Jamaican opened her account with a well-placed right-footed half-volley inside the goal area following a delightful cross from Monica Forsythe in the 27th minute to make it 2-0 following Joelly Andrews’s 26th-minute opener.
Adamolekun followed up that effort with a scintillating free-kick into the 6-yard box which landed perfectly on the boot of Lizze Waldie who scored Heart’s fourth goal after 57 minutes.
The Reggae Girl then delivered an absolute screamer in the 85th minute to close the show following a right-footed rocket from approximately 25 yards out forcing the Rangers keeper to retrieve the ball from her own net for a fifth time.
With three direct goal contributions, Adamolekun was voted the Player of The Match as Hearts made it back-to-wins.
