The Reggae Boyz will be hunting a winning start against Canada when they kick off their CONCACAF Nations League quarterfinal fixtures at the National Stadium on Friday.
The Boyz, who last faced Canada in their 4-0 loss during World Cup qualifiers last year, will be looking to turn the tables on their North American opponents with a strong opening leg to kick off their home and away fixtures.
Jamaica should enter more confident of the two having the better current record with three wins and two draws in their last five, compared to Canada’s four draws, one win and a loss.
With Jamaica averaging two goals scored per game in their last five games, the team is expected to have players on the score sheet at the National Stadium.
kick-off time is set for 7:00 p.m.
Following Friday’s game, the teams are set to conclude the fixture on November 21 in Canada.
