Reagge Boyz and Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Dexter Lembikisa will expand his European experience after signing a loan deal with Swiss club team Yverdon-Sport FC.
The deal, a season-long move from his parent club, Wolves, was confirmed via their website on Monday.
“This is going to be a different type of loan for Dexter from what he experienced last year with Rotherham and Hearts, and I’m really pleased that he’s jumped at this opportunity to expand his own horizons,” said Wolves head of professional football development, Matt Jackson.
He continued: “The Swiss league is more technical than what he’s been used to, but he showed he can play in the Championship with that frenetic pace and intensity they have, the same with the Scottish Premiership.“
“He’s obviously got great international experience now as well, and he’ll continue to add to that and this just becomes another part of his football development.”
The Jamaica Football Federation(JFF) also congratulated Lembikisa on the loan move.
The defender, who has made ten appearances for the National team, also played in Nations League fixtures against Cuba and Honduras in September.
