New Arsenal signee Raheem Sterling has been confirmed to wear jersey number 30 when he takes the field for the “Gunners” this season.
The club confirmed Sterling’s official jersey number in a shared Instagram post with the winger on Tuesday night just before the international football break.
Sterling’s jersey reveal comes days after completing his season-long loan move from Chelsea following an acrimonious kickoff to the season between himself and new “Blues” manager Enzo Maresca.
The England international reunites with former Manchester City teammates-striker Gabriel Jesus, and defender Oleksandr Zinchenko in the lineup under the guidance of “Gunners” manager Mikel Arteta the assistant coach during Sterling’s time at City.
