The exodus from French Ligue 1 Champions Paris Saint Germaine (PSG) is set to continue as Manager Christophe Galtier is reportedly set to get axed from the club a year after his appointment.

It’s understood that the French football giant has decided to part ways with Galtier despite guiding the team to a record 11th Ligue 1 title in June.

Noted football Journalist, Fabrizio Romano also reports that Galtier was informed of the club’s decision by PSG director Luis Campos and a settlement process is currently underway.

The Frenchman joined PSG last summer after steering lowly Nice to a ninth-place in the 2021-22 campaign.

Former Bayern Munich manager, Julian Naglesmman has been heavily linked as his replacement, with former France striker and Monaco manager, Thierry Henry reportedly being sought as his assistant.

Galtier’s departure would follow the high-profile exits of Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos. Their contracts expire this summer.

It’s also reported that Brazil star, Neymar is also set to leave the club in the summer with the club willing to let him go if they receive a suitable offer.
