Dancehall’s prefect Popcaan has teamed up with international destination and event group Pollen, for the staging of Unruly Culture Splash Weekender festival, which is set for Pag Island Croatia in September.

The Unruly boss, who previously hosted locally staged concerts under the Unruly banner, namely ‘Unruly Fest’ is essentially exploring and expanding the brand strength of his dancehall moniker.

The event which is scheduled for Sept 1-5 will see Poppy headline the final day which will be dedicated to Soca meets Dancehall atmosphere of revelry and raving.

While names of other performers on the lineup have yet to be revealed, one major act will be the feature of Day 3 of the event.

‘King of the Dancehall’ Beenie Man has been confirmed as monarch for the penultimate day of raving which is said to focus on dancing that’s said to be specially tailored for the ladies.

The venture itself represents a productive move by the ‘Skeleton Cartier’ singer as it not only expands his brand but provides a platform to break into new markets with his music.

Poppy who is currently working on his ‘Great is He Great is Me’ album will undoubtedly benefit from a stronger and more diverse fan base with the reach of his music.
