Omar McLeod celebrates Bday with 100m win in Italy

2016 Men’s 110 Hurdles Olympic Champion Omar McLeod had a golden celebration for his birthday after winning the men’s 100m event in Modena, Italy, on Thursday.

McLeod logged a comfortable 10.32 seconds to win ahead of home town hero Andrea Federici (10.38s) in second, and UK’s Adam Gemili, who stopped the clock at 10.39 seconds for third.

McLeod also shared his birthday triumph with fans online.

The result marks a confident boost for the 2017 World Champion as he continues his return to form in preparation for the 2024 Olympic qualifiers.
