Rap Star Nicki Minaj put the music world on notice following the announcement of a coming project in March 2026.
Minaj clued fans into the major drop via her Twitter, where she tweeted the 3/27/26 and CD emoji, which of course sent her fans into a frenzy in anticipation.

While there was much fanfare around the announcement from her fanbase popularly referred to as the “Barbs”, the almost inescapable play on the alleged rivalry between her and fellow female rapper Cardi B was among the noticeable discussion on the topic.

Minaj’s last album came via 2023’s platinum-selling Pink Friday 2, which dominated several charts following its release and included major Dancehall heavy hitters such as Skillibeng, Skeng and Beenie Man.
The project also featured the iconic Diwali Riddim from legendary producer Steven “Lenky” Marsden via Lumidee sample, which formed the bed of her lead single “Red Rubie Da Sleeze”
