Nadine Blair & Nigel Wilkinson to host Sterling Awards 2023

SLEEK Media can confirm that veteran media personalities Nadine Blair & Nigel Wilkinson will return as the 2023 hosts of Jamaica’s annual Sterling Gospel Music Awards (SGMA) showcase set for Saturday, October 7 at Swallowfield Chapel in St Andrew.

Founder and organiser of the awards, Basillia Barnaby-Cuff gave SLEEK the confirmation.

The two broadcasters are no strangers to the event as they hosted the awards together in 2022 where Wilkinson received the award for Sterling excellence.

Wilkinson is known as the Gospel Music Master and has been with the Family Station LOVE 101FM from its inception- 30 years ago.

Meanwhile, the spiritually motivated Blair has also been the main morning and mid-morning host at LOVE 101FM for over 30 years and has been an emcee for over 30 years professionally.

Both this time around, as hosts will bring the flair of class, energy, and grace to the 7th staging of the Sterling Gospel Music Awards.

The awards this year is set to be a bigger show with the local and regional gospel communities coming out to celebrate the kingdom of God.

A total of 17 awards will be presented to singers, producers, DJs, hosts, and personalities.

It will feature live performances from DJ Nicholas, Johnmark Wiggan, Prince Saj, Kevin Heat, Chris Campbell, Chantal Smalling, and gospel group H.U.M.B.L.E.
