Soca singer, songwriter, and performer Nadia Batson has put in her latest submission for Carnival 2024 with ‘Everytime’ which encourages all to make sure they have a good time and enjoy life.

Throughout the song, Nadia shares how she feels whenever she has a drink, as it puts her in the mood for a fete.

SLEEK entertainment caught up with the Trinidadian and she told us that while the song heavily shines light on drinking she is “Not a big drinker, but the song simply tries to convey exactly how I feel every single time I take a little drink. I started feeling to enjoy myself. I want to lime. I want to see my friends and just be free.”

She explained that when she heard the Riddim, from Xplicit Mevon and Stemz ProductionZ, she fell in love and that “There’s something about the bass that feels good.” She continued saying instantly “I started humming melodies immediately. I kept envisioning people enjoying themselves at a fete with their eyes closed and a drink in their hand.”

‘Everytime’ is on the Majesty Riddim and the song was written by Nadia and Erikkson George.

The audio was released on Tuesday and the singer says she and her team are “In the planning stages of a video for ‘Everytime’” and that it will be part of her upcoming album.
