Reigning Queen of the Dancehall Spice, had more than a few words for her critics last night, as she addressed those who chided her about having only profanity-based songs in her catalogue on her Instagram live.

The ‘Different category’ singer went into selecta-mode during her insta-live, as she let her music do the majority of the talking for her.

Spice reeled off a slew of her songs which were dedicated to social commentary, self-empowerment as well consciousness to present a practical response her critics.

Songs such as ‘mama used to tell me’, ‘Like a man’ and ‘black hypocrisy’ add range to the old more recent release.

In a live which lasted over an hour, the ‘So mi like it’ singer was in her ‘bag’ of musical catalogue as she delivered a playlist of strictly non-sexual, hype or confrontational songs to “shame” her detractors.

A live with the ‘Spicey one’, would not be complete without some peppery commentary from artistes, and she duly obliged.

The Grammy nominated singer challenged the person in question to come on her live and defend their sentiments about her catalogue.  The pointed commentary albeit slightly ambiguous was clearly directed at a specific individual(s) who would have felt the ire of the had they joined.

She urged her fans to tag persons who fell into that category of detractors as she continued her seemingly un wavering song selection of non-sexual songs to compound her point of having strong diversity in her catalogue.

She ended the live with as much bravado and excitement as it started by reiterating with a Will Smith-esque warning to her haters to keep her name out their speech when talking about her music.
