Mauricio Pochettino to become head coach of USA Men’s Football team

Former Tottenham Hotspurs and Chelsea manager- Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly been signed on to become the new head coach of the US Men’s National football team.

According to The Athletic, the Argentine has accepted the proposal by the USA Football Federation to prepare and condition the 2026 World Cup Co-hosts to make a good impressionable run at home.

Noted Sports Journalist Fabrizio Romano also reports on the agreement and imminent appointment of the former defender.

The role would be Poch’s first management post since parting ways with premier league club Chelsea in the summer after one season, following a stint at Paris Saint Germain(PSG).

It would also be USA’s second high-profile European manager in recent times having previously recruited former Germany Head coach Jurgen Klinsmann.
