Dancehall top striker Masicka has again hit the target among fans as his sophomore album Generation of Kings (G.O.K), released at midnight on Friday, has rushed to the top of the iTunes Reggae Album chart.

The 17-track project, Masicka’s first under Def Jam Records, has managed to unseat the legendary Bob Marley at the summit of Reggae streams hours after its release.

Early reactions online about the quality of G.O.K have also further justified the hype around its drop.

Masicka, who promised to better his 2021 album “438” by all accounts, has delivered another masterpiece dubbed Grammy-worthy and classic status among fans and neutrals alike.

Given the overwhelming start to his streams and the resounding approval by critics, the ‘Tyrant‘ hitmaker will also be looking to gain better numbers on this album compared to “438′s opening on Billboard Reggae album sales charts.
