Manchester City will be seeking to confirm their ticket to the Champions League semi-finals on Wednesday when they travel to Germany to face Bayern Munich in the reverse leg of their quarterfinals.

Last season’s finalist, City, will start as favorites to advance, with a 3-goal advantage from their opening leg in Manchester.

On paper, City striker Erling Haaland is expected to be Munich’s biggest threat. However, the unity among the Bayern players will be the bigger focus for manager Thomas Tuchel.

Strikers Sadio Mane and Leroy Sane got into a physical altercation with each other following their loss to City last week, resulting in Mane being given a one-match ban and fined.

While Mane has since apologized and returned to team training, it will be an interesting watch to see how effective the reconciliation is when they take the field.

Although Bayern boss, Tuchel expressed support for the Senegal captain in the wake of the incident, It remains unclear if he will be included in the squad for their must-win-game.

Munich needs four clear goals to complete a successful comeback and entry into the final four.

The other game on the day will see Inter Milan also seeking confirmation for the next round in their game against Benfica. Inter leads that contest 2-0.

Kick-off for both teams is set for 2 pm.
