The Reggae Girlz team has been given a massive boost with the addition of Liverpool’s skipper Taylor Hinds ahead of their upcoming friendly against France on October 25.
Hinds, who has been on the coaching staff’s radar for over the years, was officially confirmed as a Reggae Girl following the reveal of the team’s roster on Friday.

The Liverpool defender also toasted her first official call-up for Jamaica by resharing the squad list on her Instagram stories on Friday.

Former Brighton player Lulu Jarvis, who recently moved to Plymouth in the English National Women’s League South along with Chelsea loanee- Reanna Blades, is also among the “new muscle” added to fortify the midfield.
The squadlist also sees the return of several key regular starters from our World Cup squad, such as defender Allyson Swaby of Serie A giants AC Milan and midfielder Drew Spence of Women’s Super League team Tottenham Hotspurs.
Despite the stacked lineup, the most notable absence was that of striker Khadija “Bunny” Shaw.
Speaking to the media during a press conference, Head Coach Hubert Busby Jr noted that her omission for this international window was due to logistical issues and restrictions she confronted around travelling on her passport.
He added that she and her team are working diligently and expeditiously to rectify the issue for the upcoming window.
Shaw, who has been on fire for WSL team Manchester City, was reportedly forced to miss their opening Champions League fixture against Barcelona due to similar travelling issues.
The Reggae Girlz are secluded to face France at the Bonal Stadium for their opening on October 25 before tackling South Africa twice on November 29 and December 9. The venues are to be confirmed.
