Grammy Award-winning Reggae sensation Koffee is set to lockdown the Afro-Carib Festival as the show’s main headliner at the Miramar-hosted event on Saturday.
The West Indies hitmaker whose global popularity has continued to expand this year is billed as the major pull for the show alongside Nigerian afrobeat star Tekno and Haitian-born singer J Perry.
2023 has already been a good one for Koffee thus far who not only earned her second Grammy nomination for her album Gifted but also bagged another certification plaque for her 2018 breakout hit Toast.
The single, which was part of her 2020 Grammy-winning EP Rapture was officially certified platinum in the UK for registered sales of 600,000 units in that territory.
The Runaway singer also locked down a collaboration with British Pop star Sam Smith and Jessie Reyez titled Gimme.
The Toast hitmaker who recently celebrated her hit 23rd birthday also recently came off touring with Grammy award-winning pop megastar Harry Styles and is said to have started work on her second album.
