Jamaican Athletics stars Kishane Thompson, Oblique Seville and Shericka Jackson will be among the star powers featured in season two of the Netflix hit documentary series SPRINT set for release on November 13.

Men’s 100m Olympic silver medalist Kishane Thompson, event finalist Oblique Seville and Women’s 200m World Champion Shericka Jackson are among the stars featured in season two of the hit Netflix documentary series “Sprint” set for release on November 13.

In a release on Thursday, Netflix unveiled the highly anticipated second instalment of the popular ‘docu-series’ that followed the track stars, their rivalry and the championship climax at the recently concluded Paris Olympic Games in August.

Men’s 100m Olympic Champion Noah Lyles, women’s 100m winner St Lucia’s Julien Alfred, 200m Gold Medalist Letsile Tebogo of Botswana and USA Women’s 200m Olympic winner Gabby Thomas are among the other noted names featured on the show’s ‘second lap,’ said Netflix.

The “second season of SPRINT will follow Gabby Thomas, Noah Lyles, Fred Kerley, Kishane Thompson, Julien Alfred, Letsile Tebogo, Melissa Jefferson, Twanisha Terry, Marcell Jacobs, Kenny Bednarek, Shericka Jackson, Oblique Seville, and more as they compete at the pinnacle of their sport at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

“The latest edition of the docuseries shows what it takes to dig deep, pull out your personal best on a global stage,” the release said, adding “then get back into training to continue dominating on the track.

Season 1 of SPRINT which premiered on July 2 to critical acclaim, explored the journey of elite sprinters and their preparation on the road and throughout the 2023 World Championships.
