Reggae Girlz and Manchester City star Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw continued her partnership with sportswear giant Nike after officially signing a contract extension on Thursday.
“The journey continues. Few more years with @nike. Happy to be a part of the family. @team.avsports,” Shaw captioned her announcement post via Instagram to commemorate the moment.



The prolific striker has been with the company since signing in 2019, immediately after going pro following her graduation from the University of Tennessee before signing with French top-flight team FC Girondins de Bordeaux women that year.
The deal made the then 22-year-old the first female footballer from the Caribbean to sign a major contract with the brand.

The Jamaican has been the most lethal striker in English football this season, netting 21 goals in 20 appearances in all competitions for Super League team Manchester City.
Shaw has already received player of the month trophies twice this season, most recently the PFA Fans’ player of the month for January.
Following her spectacular hat trick in the FA Cup last week, her second in the competition, she has already laid a strong claim for another accolade.
