The Africa Oyé festival which draws 50,000 attendees each year is the celebration of African and Caribbean music and culture which will take place on June 22-23 in Liverpool’s Sefton Park.

According to the BBC, the festival’s artistic Director Paul Duhaney has classified Julian as “A reggae superstar who has truly emerged from his father’s shadow.”

Duhaney continued saying “You don’t win Grammys without being an incredible talent in your own right and it’ll be a Sunday night for the history books when he closes the festival this year”.

This comes on the heels of Julian’s official video release of the single “Made For Your Love”

The song is also on his Grammy Award-winning album Colors Of Royal.
