Cavaliers face Harbour View, while Arnett Gardens Tackle Mount Pleasant in an exciting double header as the semifinal round of the Jamaica Premier League (JPL) kicks off on Monday at Sabina Park

The Cavaliers versus Harbour View clash will get the ball rolling in the opening fixture

The Cavs, who were automatic qualifiers to the last four after a second-place finish in the regular season, will be aiming to prove their status as a title contender with another commanding performance on Monday.

Cavaliers would also be motivated by the disappointment of losing the final of the Inaugural Lynk Cup tournament when they line up to face Harbour View at Sabina

Harbour View, who battled through the playoff round to advance to the semis, will also be eager to show themselves as worthy contenders with a positive start to their fixture

The ‘Stars of the East’ who scored four goals in the previous round, will be hoping to be as active when they line up against the Cavs in their 5:00 pm fixture.

It’s expected to be an equally thrilling encounter between regular season table topper Arnett Gardens and Mount Pleasant in the main feature

Arnett has won five of their last six games. They have only dropped points at the hands of Mount Pleasant, a statistic the ‘Junglists’ will be looking to update in the opening leg on Monday

Mount Pleasant, who have been the ‘giant killers’ this season, will be making another attempt toward their first premier league crown

The St. Ann-based team is expected to add points from their previous encounter with Arnett as they seek to bag another upset at Sabina Park

Kick-off for that game is set for 7:30 pm
